Does he like me ???????

Soo their's this guy I know that I've been friends with for 2 years. If it helps I used to have a MAJOR crush on him 3 years ago, when we weren't friends yet, and he was super mean to me. Now, we're really good friends. I sit next to him in math class, and we always fool around. We play around with each others bracelets (lmao, I know, sounds weird XD But I mean like I would have it on, and he would just scoot it up and down, touching my arm. Weird, I know XD), and we draw on each other, and sit close to each other. We also laugh a lot together. He always notices when I have a new shirt on, or new pants, or anything new in general. He called me cute once or twice, and compliments me time to time. The girl that sat behind us even asked us if we had a 'thing', which I said 'no' to, and he stayed silent. He also once brought up the fact that he liked someone, but wouldn't tell me who (he used to tell me his crushes). I had him in two other classes, too, so we saw a lot of each other. But it's summer now, and I haven't seen or talked to him in 2 weeks x( To be honest, I miss him, but I don't know what to do. And did he/does he liked me after all that? I think I do like him, but I don't want to ruin our friendship :( He's really nice, and funny, and smart (he always helped me in math and science) and cute, and I really don't know what to do
