How can I transport this pig without him scaring?

Tomorrow morning, I have to walk down to a shop and pick up my aunt's new piglet. I saw him today and he's a bit nervous of me touching him, and scoots away when I'm too forward with petting him.. He's a bit to big for me to carry the whole way, and he can walk just fine, but if I put him on a lead will he walk with me to my house, or will he be nervous like a dog that's never been on a lead? I realize this is an odd question, but please answer seriously XD I don't have a car to drive him home in.
