Puppy hops while peeing?

So my puppy is a schnauzer/poodle mix, she is 6 months old, has all her shots, been de-wormed and up to date on all her check ups and everything. i have walked her before but she would never pee outside, until today. she picked her little spot and squatted to pee, but as she was peeing, she was moving as if she didn't want the grass touching her? it seemed like scooting, but in little hops while peeing if that makes sense? she didn't scoot on the ground tho and does not at all. so im curious as to why she acted strange like this -_-
