UK Armed Forces cuts cuts?

I just read an article that says our Government is looking to make even more cuts to the armed forces? what are they thinking? Apparently the MOD is 'scrambling to find 8 billion' Why the f**k do we get involved in pointless wars that have nothing to do with us which ends up costing billions then sack the people who are fighting in them?!? We could have saved millions, maybe even billions by not getting involved in libya! Our country is a complete joke! Just wondering what other people think about this?
